Our Phases of the Moon Board is designed to introduce children to how our moon travels around papatūānuku (Mother Earth) in the Southern Hemisphere. You can look at how the moon rotates around our planet throughout the lunar month.

Our board comes with a two sided info card giving the Moon Phase names in English and Te Reo. Perfect for any space enthusiast.

Measurements (approx.):

Moons  5cm diameter x 2.5cm high

  • Wood = NZ untreated Macrocarpa (board), Moons are hardwood (birch or maple)
  • Finish = Light coat of Beeswax
  • Wood grain/pattern and colour variations in the wood will occur.  No two boards will be the same.  We are not able to control these colour variations and will vary from board to board and image shown.
 Please note that this resource is handmade and hand painted and may have some small imperfections, which we feel only adds charm, uniqueness and character to this resource.
